Premier Padel Tour: The final stop of the FIP World Tour kicks off in Milan from December 5 to 11

The moment that players and fans have been eagerly awaiting is drawing near: the final stop of the Premier Padel Tour is almost ready to begin. The Premier Padel P1 will bring all the top padel champions to Milan’s Allianz Cloud from December 5 to 11, including Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron, the world’s top-ranked duo.

The event marks the final stop on the Premier Padel circuit, the new official global padel circuit introduced as an alternative to the World Padel Tour. It is organized and managed by the International Padel Federation (FIP) and supported by the Professional Padel Association (PPA) and Qatar Sports Investments (QSI). Launched earlier this year, Premier Padel has already hosted several tournaments around the world, including four Category 1 Major events, and aims to reach 25 scheduled events by 2024. This year’s first stop, the 2022 Ooredoo Qatar Major, took place in Doha in March and was an immediate success.

The event in Milan isa must-see for all padel enthusiasts—not only to watch the world’s top players in action, but also to stay up to date on the latest news from the world of padel.

And here’s some wonderful news: Padel Mi Amor will have its own booth in the exhibition area to showcase and sell the latest additions to its fall/winter collection of technical apparel and accessories to all the fans attending this event in person!

Premier Padel Milan: The Star Players

The Milano Premier Padel P1 is set to host all the top players on the world circuit. At the top of the event’s official entry list are Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron, the Spanish duo who, in the week leading up to the Milan event, will compete in the Premier Padel Major in Monterrey, Mexico (scheduled for November 28 through December 4) and who have already triumphed in the Rome, Paris, and Madrid. Among the event’s highlights will be many other champions: in fact, the participation of Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello, Franco Stupaczuk and Pablo Lima—winners in Mendoza and New Giza at the last two Premier Padel events—and Fernando Belasteguin paired with the young Spaniard Arturo Coello (born in 2002) has already been confirmed.

Rounding out the top five pairs competing in the Milano Premier Padel—who will be vying for the 1,000 points toward the FIT ranking and the 250,000 euros in prize money up for grabs at the event—are Martin Di Nenno and Jorge Nieto Ruiz. The main draw will feature 48 pairs, 37 of whom are automatically qualified based on their rankings, plus eight pairs from the qualifying rounds (to be held over the weekend, Saturday, December 3, and Sunday, December 4, at City Padel Milano), and three wild cards.

Among the top-level players, the only ones absent will be Sanyo Gutierrez and Agustin Tapia, who chose to skip the event to recover after returning from South America following a busy period of commitments and competitions.
Among the Italian players will be the newly crowned Italian champions Marco Cassetta and Simone Cremona, Lorenzo Di Giovanni and Daniele Cattaneo, and Riccardo Sinicropi, who will be competing alongside French player Maxime Moreau. Also guaranteed to qualify are the Italian pairs Scala/Salandro and Beltrami/Tinti, as well as Giacomo Miccini (teaming up with the Italian-Argentine Juan Manuel Restivo).
